Roz Morris, TV News London’s Managing Director, spoke at Lady Val’s Professional Women’s Network Lunch, on April 23rd, giving valuable tips and advice on how broadcast skills can help your business.

“When I set up TV News London just over 20 years ago, I wanted to bring the skills of broadcasting into business, and this is still my focus” says Roz.  “Broadcasting demands clarity, brevity and accuracy. And these are all qualities that make businesses successful.  Now that technology gives everyone the opportunity to be a broadcaster on the web, it’s even more important that everyone understands how to communicate clearly about their business.”

Roz is very experienced in media training and messaging for businesses.  After a career as a national newspaper journalist, and BBC radio and TV reporter and presenter, she started TV News London in 1993.   She works with a range of public and private sector clients as well as charities and campaigning organisations to enable them to present their optimum messages in the media.

Roz’s talk was followed by an optional workshop  from  2.45pm to 3.30 pm. This was a free ‘Dress for Success’ workshop after the lunch with Joanna Gaudoin and Kerry O’Brine- fashion experts trained in image consultancy and dress designing to give you workable tips on making a confident impact to achieve greater professional success.
