TV News London Clients in the News

By Roz Morris, Managing Director, TV News London Ltd

BBC London and the Metro newspaper, both with audiences of millions, have recently featured interviews demonstrating the effectiveness of our PR and Media Training Services.

BBC TV London Politics featured a report and interview with Preston Benson, Founder and CEO of Really Local Group, previewing the opening of the first cinemas in Ealing, West London, for 14 years.

Really Local Group specialises in regeneration projects in suburban areas with large empty retail properties, and is currently planning to revitalise more than a dozen high streets around London and the South East with its formula of opening new cinemas and bars and coffee bars combined with spaces for community use, music spaces, and attractions for younger consumers.

Cultural offerings in the outer London boroughs have not kept up with demographic changes, Preston points out. He says that many young families have had to move to outer London to be able to afford housing but then find that local high streets do not provide the facilities they need.

TV News London worked with Here Be Dragons PR to provide TV interview media training for Preston and prepare him for his interview with BBC London Politics. Watch the BBC report here

We also recently worked with our clients Family Links, the emotional health training charity, to achieve a full-page interview in the Metro ‘Sixty Seconds with …’ slot with TV presenter and actor, Alexander Armstrong, who is a patron of the charity.

As well as inevitable questions about ‘Pointless’ and his latest voiceover venture ‘Hello Duggee’, Alexander spoke a lot about his and his wife’s support for Family Links and this gave terrific publicity for Family Links.  Read the full interview here
